When the smoke cleared in Denver one bull clearly stood out, WK Gunsmoke, the Reserve Grand Champion Bull. Gunsmoke re-wrote August history before the largest Angus show in the world was over. Gunsmoke accomplished what no other bull has ever done…he was Reserve Grand Champion and sired by the Spring Bull Calf Champion, WK Smoker along with the most talked about bull calf that stood second to him, CW Man O War.

Gunsmoke daughters dominated in the heifer calf classes - 14 head were shown in nine classes with one 1st place, four 2nd places, one 3rd place, two 4th places, one 5th place, three 6th places and two 7th places.

Gunsmoke also sired the Champion Junior Get, Champion Senior Get, Champion Best Six Head consisting of Gunsmoke and five calves sired by him. In the Yards the Champion Carload of Bulls were mainly sired by Gunsmoke.

Due to an untimely infection in Gunsmoke's reproductive tract, there is a limited amount of semen on him, therefore we have stopped semen sales on the most prolific breeding bull in the Angus industry.
